This fabric is so rad. Its mudcloth hand woven, dyed and printed in Mali. Technically mudcloth is called that from the iron rich mud used to dye it the rich brown black color, so not sure how. the purple came about, but its rad. I have been using mudcloth in my quilting work but I know I’m never going to use this purple one. Raw unfinished edges so you can sew it up in to something fab, or just use it as is as a throw or picnic blanket.
Please keep in mind that when buying Vintage items you are buying something that is pre-loved. Most Vintage items show signs of wear, but that is also what makes them so unique. I’m only selling things that I think are fabulous, so you are sure to love them.
