So you want a CUSTOM QUILT?!

Thank you for your interest in my work! I get really excited about the things I make, and even more excited when others connect with them.

The first step is getting a sense of what you’re looking for. Each of my quilts is unique—I don’t use patterns, and I design each piece as I go. The easiest way to communicate your vision is to look through my past work and share what you’re drawn to and why. This helps me understand your aesthetic and price the piece based on its size and complexity.

I’ll also need a sense of your color palette or mood. Inspiration photos are especially helpful—these can be anything from a forest or piece of artwork to photos of the room where the quilt will live. From there, I’ll pull fabrics based on your inspiration and share them with you along with a loose sketch of the direction I’m envisioning. You’re commissioning an original piece of art, and I want you to love it as much as I do.

Once I have a sense of what you’re looking for, I’ll provide an estimate and invoice for a 25% deposit, with the remaining balance due upon completion before shipping. Lead time is typically 12 weeks, with rush orders sometimes available depending on my schedule.

The design process includes three rounds of fabric and compositional adjustments to make sure the piece is heading in the right direction. Additional revisions beyond those three rounds are subject to a $150 change fee.

For custom work, Queen sized quilts start at $2000, King at $2500 and California King at $3000. Custom sized pricing is determined on a case by case basis.
