This pillow was made as a test sample for.a larger quilt project I made that was one of my favorite quilts ever (see the last photo in the grouping). I didn’t remember making this in to a pillow, I had made larger pillows with the same motif but forgot about this little guy. Sham only, fits a 20×20” pillow insert.
All of my pillows are made with 2nd hand fabrics sourced from the fashion and interior design industries as well as vintage shops and estate sales. This way I get fabrics unavailable to anyone else and give some rad old fabrics a new life for you to love! The fabrics may carry a visual history of their previous life (wear marks in a pair of old jeans or the red wine stain of a linen tablecloth). These choices are intentional, showing the character of the journey of the fabric.
The back of each pillow is made with preshrunk cotton canvas. Machine washable on cold and gentle. Do not dryclean.
