Red and Blue Quilt with Teeth
$3,000.00

76 X 92"

This size is big enough to go atop a queen bed and perfect for you to curl up with another adult.

This unique quilt is handmade by me in the central highlands of Washington State. I don’t use patterns and every quilt I make is spontaneous and composed as it is created.

I wanted to. be more playful in the things I make. Plus my mom was a dental hygienist. So I made this quilt.

All of my quilts are made with 2nd hand fabrics sourced from the fashion and interior design industries as well as vintage shops and estate sales. This way I get fabrics unavailable to anyone else and give some rad old fabrics a new life for you to love! The fabrics may carry a visual history of their previous life (wear marks in a pair of old jeans or the red wine stain of a linen tablecloth). These choices ae intentional, showing the character of the journey of the fabric.

All of my quilts are intended to be used.  They can of course be hung on a wall but I make them to be slept under or picnicked on top of.  I wash the one on my bed yearly in the  washing machine on cold and gentle, then line dry it and toss it in the dryer quickly to fluff it.  I don't recommend doing it more regularly than this.  It is well constructed but still it is handmade.  Contains Wool, Cotton, Linen and Cotton Poly blended fabrics.  100% cotton mid weight batting. Do not dry clean.

I love everything I make and I hope you do too.

Pink, Beige and Rust Quilt

I made this quilt thinking about space ship interior design. Not this low orbit space billionaire tourism nonsense, but like the design of a chic hotel lobby or lounge in zero gravity in Jetsons sort of reality.

Red, Beige and Blue Quilt

72 × 86"

This size is big enough to go atop a queen bed and perfect for you to curl up with another adult.

For this quilt I wanted to make something in a traditional American colorway, very like 80s Ralph Lauren. Muted red, brown, rust navy… But make the composition kooky and fun like Issey Miyake in the 70s. Rooted in tradition but really far out. This quilt will look awesome in a stuffy mansion in Connecticut or in a downtown art loft.

Gray and Black quilt with Brown

This unique quilt is handmade by me in the central highlands of Washington State. I don’t use patterns and every quilt I make is spontaneous and composed as it is created.

This quilt is really cool. I cut strips of different fabrics and then wove them together by hand creating a really cool pattern. Then I stitched the edges of all the strips together creating a finished textile. I wanted to make a quilt with this new fabric that didn’t compete with the grid structure of the weave, so I created this quilt with gentle arching seams and sharp angles. This frames the woven bits really well, while also highlighting the other awesome varieties of fabrics joined together in this quilt.

Blue and Denim Double Backed Quilt
$1,000.00

$1,000.00

66 × 90"

This size is big enough to go atop a queen bed and perfect for you to curl up with another adult.

This unique quilt is handmade by me in the central highlands of Washington State. I don’t use patterns and every quilt I make is spontaneous and composed as it is created. For most of my quilts I compose the front and then I create the backing out of the same or complimentary fabrics in a paired down version of what is happening on the front.  For these double backed quilts I decided to start with the back and then make a 2nd back, so its double sided!  This quilt is more  simply constructed but with the same color and textural dynamism in fabric choices as my other quilts.  This allows me to offer them at a lower price.  It also allows me to showcase larger pieces of rad fabrics from my collection that are too cool to cut up in to bits!

This quilt has a chic workwear look. Lots of denim with sturdy brown canvas, but its all vintage so super warn in and cozy soft. There are hickory striped applique patches and this awesome cotton ikat that I found in a thrift shop in the mountains in Arizona, I’ve had it forever and am so glad its finally in a quilt!

Blue and Black Quilt

This size is big enough to go atop a queen bed and perfect for you to curl up with another adult.

This unique quilt is handmade by me in the central highlands of Washington State. I don’t use patterns and every quilt I make is spontaneous and composed as it is created.

I live in a very rural part of Washington State, USA. I made this quilt imagining urban life in a far off place like Shenzhen China. A place I’ve never been that is surely so different from my daily life. But who knows maybe id get along well there. A city at dusk is such a beautiful thing. The colors and shapes in this thought are what i was playing with in this quilt.

I think this quilt is so cool. It is really simple but the curve cutting across each side is so designy. Plus its brown. Brown looks good in everyones house, AND it hides spills. I’m a disastrous eater, so maybe if I wasnt such a slob i could own white things, until then its all brown, black, and dark blue. Even messy idiots like me can live is style!
