This is a classic Guatemalan brocade pattern. Brocade is almost like embroidery where there is a piece of string used to decorate the surface of the fabric, but it is overlaid as the fabric is being created rather than it being sewn in after the fabric is whole in embroidery. The muted jewel tones are fantastic, very autumn harvest, or rainbow at dusk.

This one will be a rad table runner , hung on. the wall, or hang it in the window of your VW bus.
