This blanket is so beautiful. To be perfectly honest I’m a bit baffled as to how the amazing decorative patterns were made. Its a sort of brocade I believe (where the decorative yarn is not integral to the structure of the weave) however in this blanket this blue and beige yarn jumps up and down the warp in a really amazing way that I cant figure out. Maybe its embroidered after its woven but that seems weird.

Any clue what Im talking about, probably not- HA! Regardless its such a rad blanket. Its 100% wool and hand made. I’ve had this for years and it has always reminded me of Tilda Swinton as the the White Witch in the Narnia movies. The costume design for that character is so far out. Would look awesome at the foot of your bed or even wear it as a pashmina to the opera.

Please keep in mind that when buying Vintage items you are buying something that is pre-loved.  Most Vintage items show signs of wear, but that is also what makes them so unique.  I’m only selling things that I think are fabulous, so you are sure to love them.
