Mudcloth Lap Quilts

I used the most amazing fabric in this series, hand loomed mudcloth from Mali in West Africa. Each cloth is dyed with fermented mud, giving them a rich earthy black brown color. Often wildly patterned, I chose more minimally printed pieces and paired them with some awesome fabrics from my collection to make some awesome new stuff that celebrate these amazing pieces of fabric.
