Tie Dyed Desert Cityscape Pillows
This warm colorway was designed around the awesome tie die done by my buddy Trapis Designs. The chaotic dye pattern reminded me of a violent sunset or oil spill. I wanted to create the feel of a dry hot futuristic landscape the with curving lines and acidic yellows and dusty grays. I think these would be in a story board for the set design in a film adaptation of a Philip K. Dick novel.

A buddy of mine does this radical tie dye so I had him go to town on this cool pink linen. The compositions of each of these series were sort of like. a futuristic desert cityscape. I’ve been reading. a lot of science fiction lately.. I overlaid mesh netting with some cotton on this one, the effect is really rad.
